Blogs to Note & Remember: Why Clients Choose Park Lane Events

Summer Browsing: Catch Up on Blogs While You Recharge

August is always a funny month in our industry, especially with the Bank Holiday weekend.  Many will be away soaking up the sunshine, enjoying some family time, or simply stepping back from the busy pace of office life, taking time to recharge, to come back fresh for what we all know is the busy September season.

Having said that, I know many are as busy as ever, connecting and meeting up, planning and getting ahead of the forthcoming busy season, and it goes without saying; a special shout-out to all the parents balancing school holidays with work at the same time!

So why not have a browse through some of the blogs I’ve shared on the Park Lane Events Blog page? They’re designed to be easy reads with short bursts of ideas and insights.

Here are a few I think you’ll particularly enjoy:

Webinar Insights: Knowledge in Bite-Sized Sessions

If you’ve missed any of my webinars, or just fancy a quick refresh, this blog is a handy roundup. I run these free sessions a few times a year, each one focused on helping PAs, EAs, and corporate bookers stay ahead of venue trends and insider tips alongside the following agenda:

  • Update on the latest venue availability, trends and planning for this time of year
  • Update on next quarter and the rest of the year
  • Industry exhibitions update
  • Hotels and Venues visited plus new openings

How Venue Finding Works: Behind the Scenes of What I Do

This blog is a bit more “nuts and bolts” but incredibly useful if you’ve ever wondered exactly how a venue finder fits into your planning process. Spoiler alert: it’s not just about Googling or using AI for a few options, (although they are great resources!)

The lovely easy to read timeline clearly shows the process from our first call to discuss your brief to shortlisting, negotiating rates, and even coordinating site visits.  And the best part? My service is completely free to you when the event goes ahead. It’s one of those posts that really shows the value of having someone in your corner, especially when time and budget are tight.
