September 2024 Webinar – Planning Ahead to 2025 and beyond

Reflecting on the Fast-Paced Year and Upcoming Webinar

As I sit here during the school summer holidays, it’s hard to believe we’re already in August, looking ahead to the final quarter of 2024 and beyond to 2025. Since my last webinar, it’s been a busy few months of new (and existing) venue site visits, preparing client briefs and prior to my own break with my family, ensuring that all my confirmed events are in order for the remainder of the year.

Key Insights from April’s Webinar and the 2024 Market Outlook

Back in April’s webinar, I shared key findings of the 2024 MIA report which showed that 59% of venues had more confirmed business as of Jan 1st 2024 than they did on Jan 1st 2023. It was also reported that the average enquiry time was 11 weeks prior to the event taking place with ¾ of event buyers already having confirmed events in the diary for 2025 (and a third having events confirmed for 2026!) I often feel that enquiries and events are back to pre-pandemic levels and this certainly showed the growth we are all feeling and were aiming for during that time.

2024 really has flown by for Park Lane Events and I feel immensely grateful to my clients for keeping me so busy – not only has it been a fantastic year for events but with enquiries already being received for every month of next year, 2025 is shaping up to be another bumper year.

The Importance of Early Planning for Future Success

As we look ahead to the new year, availability is going be crucial and as with anything, the earlier the enquiry can be made, the greater the chances are of securing preferred dates, venues, and rates. I shall be discussing this further during my forthcoming conference and events webinar taking place on Wednesday, September 11th at 09.30

I’ll also be sharing highlights from some of the fabulous venues I’ve visited recently, including the beautiful Down Hall Hotel & Spa, where I had an unforgettable stay. If you haven’t read it yet, you can check out my blog about that experience here.  This is an essential part of my role and I’ve been lucky enough to see some fabulous properties over the last few months with invitations including Brunch at Canopy by Hilton London City, Lunch at The Pullman Hotel with a great location between Kings Cross St Pancras and Euston and hosted at the recent IVR (Inspirational Venues Roadshow) at The Bull Hotel at Gerrards Cross where I met with a plethora of hotels and venues from all over the UK.

With so many constant updates, I often share a snapshot of venue details on my website such as:

New London Venues

Park Lane Hotels

and coming soon is my M25 hotels page which will be another ‘go to’ resource via www.parklaneevents.co.uk
